Preamble of the US Constitution Extra Credit
We have taken a closer look this past week at the US Constitution's Preamble. There are 6 "goals" that our founding fathers wanted to ensure for the future. Take a look at each one and explain what they mean. I am NOT looking for synonyms. I am looking for what it means or examples (think about that sort activity we did in class last week.) You must use complete sentences for credit. NO LAST NAMES! 5 points for each goal answered correctly. So that is a maximum of 30 pts. extra credit. Reminder that I am closing my grade book on FRIDAY, October 21st at midnight!

We the people of the United States: it means when every one comes to gether and isent being mean.
ReplyDeleteTo form a more perfect union: means that we shouldnt be mean. Means that we should be respectful.
Establish Justice: means to put the bad people in jail.
Domestic Tranquility: means to to be peaceful and not be ing mean to other people.
Provide for Common Defence: to have someone or something to protect you.
General Welfare: to have money to buy something you need. Ex clothes, food, transportation, and shelter.

We the people of the United States: The people in the United States come together.

Establish Justice: To bring the truth to order.
To Insure Domestic Tranquility: To be respectful to the public.
Provide for the Common Defence: To be protected well.
To Promote the General Welfare: To have Money for things why need to have like the army, housing, food, and tranportation.
And to Secure the Blessings of our Liberty and our Posterity: To protect our happiness of our freedom and our Future.
We the people of the United States means:All the people of the United States of America no matter what color, religion, race, gender or wealth.

Establish justice means: To have all offenders and rule breakers caught and given the Menander rights and a trial jail or punishment if convicted guilty.
Domestic tranquility means to have a peaceful country and states were no one is judged or classified.
Provide for Common Defense means have a army ready in case of a attack or of and invasion.
General Welfare to have a good economy and have money for our own country.

ReplyDeleteIt means the citiaens that live in the usa agree on an idea that they all think is right.
to form a more perfect union means that the people wanted a better world to live. a better government. Establish justice means to make thing fair have fair trials. and arrest the peopple who commit crimes. promote general welfare means to fix the things that are broken. and to have money so we can buy things we NEED for ours and others health.
provide for the common defense means to have an army protection. isure domestic tranquillty means to have peace at home. and to sucure the blessings of our self and poseterity means to have freedom. to ordaint and establish this constitution for the usa is like saying signing there names. and a few are not in order i forgot the placing of maybe like 2 or 3 are siwchted.
"We the people of the United States" means everybody that lives here is a part of the county. "In order to form a more perfect union" means to create a country of the people, by the people, and for the people.

To "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity" means to protect freedom for now and future citizens.
"do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America" means to create and authorize our rules and rights.
